Jacob Brown British Wool Aran Jumper
A brown British Wool Aran jumper with a traditional fishing pattern manufactured in the UK.
We call this our 'Jacob' brown colour Aran jumper as the British Wool yarn we use is the colour of the Jacob breed of sheep. A hardy sheep with distinctive brown, black and white spots.
This is real natural locally sourced British wool, it will smell like wool should!
The design of our Aran wool jumpers are based on traditional geometric patterns hailing from the Aran islands (one 'r'!) off the West Coast of Ireland. Not to be confused with the Isle of Arran in Scotland.
This style features a crew neck collar and is made to a fairly loose knit traditional pattern.
STOCK UPDATE: We ran out over Christmas but the yarn is now in stock and more are being knitted up, we hope to have more in every size in stock by early March.
