Chalfont Short Haired Brown British Sheepskin Rug
This sheepskin rug is one of the more unusual we have seen - a very short woolled rug that has been roughly shorn, creating a distinctive, textured effect. Dark brown in colour with hints of lighter brown.
The colouring of 'all-brown' rugs like this can be quite deceptive when viewed in photos rather than in person, particularly in outdoor lighting where the fleece is highlighted by the sun making it look much lighter in places. Under indoor lighting this rug looks a much flatter and fairly constant very dark reddy brown colour all over, with some subtle highlights of lighter brown.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
